  • I was so impressed by the offerings from this gem of a shop from a previous visit that I thought of it immediately as the season for gift giving rolled around. To me, it resembles a jewelry store with its wondrous chocolate displays and lush brown/blue signature colors, punctuated with the colors of the holiday season. I was seeking single-origin, high-cocoa content chocolate bars and found a variety. They were sourced from Cameroon, the Ivory Coast, and Peru, all prettily packaged and ready for gift-giving. Other interesting items in the shop include Christmas novelties, Belgium truffles, fruit and nut barks, creative chocolate flavors, and Juliettes, thin chocolate wafers in the shape of petals that are topped with nuts, dried fruits, and spices. My favorites are the cornet chocolates (shaped like an ice cream cone) in a variety of gianduja flavors: crispy, milk and dark chocolates. This is definitely a place for the chocolate lover to discover new tastes and favorites.
