Very disheartening to say the least. Just renewed my lease for the 3rd year here mainly because i didnt want to deal with the hassle of moving. They increased my rent over $100 and promote the fact they have ceiling fans in all there apartments. Since i moved in two years ago they do not have any ceilng fans in the bedrooms so i thought i would ask for them since i renewed my lease and have been a great renter. Never been late on rent and in fact have only requested maintenance to help on two occasions in all that time. You would think they would be jumping to help me especially as I'm signing the new lease for a year. There response is "If you buy the fans we can install them". Ummm......no. why would i buy the fans and when i move the next tenant gets them. I dont rent an apartment to invest in it. They end up "requesting" upper management to approve the fans. So then they come back and say "We can do one fan". What the heck? I have two rooms. How do i decide which one of my kids gets cooling relief and the other one suffers in the desert heat? Their response - i dont know. What about caring for your good renter? What about customer service? What about having what your amenities list says? Well you can keep your one $20 fan and i will look elsewhere for a rental in the future.
