  • This place takes me back to the Mom and Pop ice cream places that were only open in the summer - usually near a ballpark - when I was growing up in the suburbs. They offered soft serve in a variety of ways (I love the crunch cones) at prices families and teams can afford (FYI, if a bunch of people show up wearing matching team uniforms, they get a discount). My usual purchase is a small chocolate-vanilla swirl crunch cone for about two bucks, but I should really get the kid size because the servings are SO generous!!! They also have hot dogs, mozzarella sticks (?!?!) and a few other non-ice cream items for those not in the mood for a cone.
