  • My husband and I stopped in here last night after picking up some takeout from across the street. We LOVE small, locally owned businesses and were going to stop at Baskin Robbins but made a quick turn when we saw the sign for this place hoping it was local. The owner was friendly and quick to offer help on ordering, especially since it was our first time here. We ended up getting 2 ice cream sandwiches, 2 salted caramel chocolate cookies with frosting, 2 red velvet cookies with frosting, and 2 chocolate cookies with peanut butter frosting. Y'all these cookies were SO good. Not sure why some of the other reviews state the cookie was too soft... they must enjoy a hard cookie (yuck!) but as fans of soft cookies (because we're not insane), we were thrilled. The cookies were soft and moist and came with a generous serving of flavorful frosting. The ice cream sandwiches were made with a different kind of cookie and they were super messy but SO SO SO good. We like patronizing smaller locally owned businesses because as a whole the product tends to be better, and we get to do our part to support the community. There's WAY too much corporate influence in the marketplace here in Las Vegas/Henderson and it's becoming increasingly difficult for smaller businesses to compete. Every dollar you spend is a vote and our vote will continue to go to amazing small businesses like The Sugar Cookie. 10/10 will come back for more as the service was friendly and the cookies were delicious.
