  • Had I wrote this review the day I received the item, I would have given this place 1 star. I bought a coffee table from BOHO after searching online for a particular type my wife and I would like. We wanted a table in a specific time frame for personal matters. I gave them and call on a Sun and was greeted by a gentleman named Chris. He quoted me a price and told me delivery would be that Fri. Fast forward to that Fri and he tells me that the item won't be delivered now till Mon. So Mon rolls around and he sends me an e-mail stating that the item was received damaged so they won't be delivering it and that my card hasn't been charged. At this point he informs me to look for another table against their online catalog. He also sent another link to a site where I believe they order a bunch of their inventory from. We picked a few out but he comes back and tells me they were all out of stock of those particular items. I then, proceeded to tell him not to worry about it and we'll look for a table elsewhere. He replies back saying that he found another vendor that has the initial table we want but it's $25 more. I asked if he can guarantee that delivery would be on Fri of that week and informed him of the URGENCY OF DELIVERY! He agreed and promised to have it delivered on Fri since they would have a pickup of inventory on Thurs, but only if I go into the store and pay cash for it. So, I go to the store on Wed and pay in cash for the item. While I was there a woman named Stephanie had no idea about the transaction, so we call Chris. He gives her a background story of my initial order and tells me now that he can't guarantee delivery on Friday since they already filled up the truck. He tells me that it will now be Saturday. I specifically tell him that I need the item before 2pm that Saturday. He emails me that it sounds doable and that they would pick it up on Sat at noon and deliver it right away. Saturday rolls around and it's a little after noon. I give him a call to find out the status. He tells me that he can't get a hold of anyone at the office or the delivery guy. At this point I'm completely pissed. I knew in the back of my mind he wouldn't follow through on his promise. 2 weeks now I've been trying to obtain a piece of furniture that was promised to me at specific times but never arrived! He tells me he's going to keep trying to get a hold of someone and will call me back. He also tells me that I'll definitely have it today even if they have to deliver it at midnight. I'm sorry, does he not remember that I specifically said that we needed the table by 2pm?!? Of course at this point I'm tired of listening to his bs. So I call him back and asked him if I could pick the table up myself since it's just sitting in a moving truck somewhere. He finally gets a hold of someone conveniently now that I'm willing to pick it up. He tells me that hes arranged for someone to meet me at their sales office so that I can pickup the table. I meet Stephanie there and pick up the table. To my surprise, it was still in the packaging box and un-assembled. I suppose it's my bad to assume the table would come assembled. So, I tell her about my frustrations with Chris and she tells me that it's strange that we couldn't get it delivered since there are "3 delivery guys!!" WTF... Chris also mentioned that he picked up the table himself this morning? So why was it that he couldn't deliver it himself? I don't like it when people over-promise and under-deliver! It really pisses me off to no end. Anyway, Stephanie is amazing and awesome to deal with. Had I dealt with her at the start I'm sure I would have had a completely different outcome. I will not going back there because of Chris, and I hope everyone who goes has a much more pleasant experience in dealing with him. Do yourself a favor and work directly with Stephanie! :-) TLDR version: I ordered a table to be delivered, but in the end, I had to pick up the table myself, pay an additional $25, and even assemble it myself!
