Fantastic patio. Spacious with private tables and beautiful mixture of brick and foliage. True to all Upward Project creations, the decor and overall vibe are top-notch. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They apparently do some sort of team serving (or at least that's how I was treated during a weekday happy hour). This is fine because we never had to wait to order another round or anything like that, but at the same time, I was never sure who to flag down, or who the tip was going to, etc.
The fondue pretzel appetizer is pretty good, but not spectacular. It's served with apple and sausage which is a bonus. Great fondue is simply hard to come by. The kale Caesar salad and veggie stack sandwich, however, were absolutely to die for. Delicious.
The biggest issue: I felt pressured into ordering a second drink. And by pressured I mean the waitress told me she had rang in another drink for me before happy hour was over... Typically this wouldn't be a big deal but 1. I hadn't asked, and 2. I explicitly said I didn't want to drink because I had work to do that night...so it put me off a bit. Aside from that, the experience was great and I'll definitely be back.
