I purchased a Groupon for 6 laser hair removal treatments. So far, so good. I've been in 3 times and have already seen results. My hair is much less course and I see it fall out about a week after every treatment.
I switched technicians because I didn't see as much change after treatment #2 and thought it might be because she was too afraid to turn up the machine. The woman I have now has been an esthetician for over 5 years and she is very professional (Jamie Lynn). I will continue to go until all my treatments are complete.
I hope I don't have to go for more than 6, but I wouldn't mind if I had to..I can see in the long run how this treatment will be worth my time and money.
The reason for 4 stars? Actually, I would probably say this is more like 4.5 stars. They waited until the day before my appointment to tell me the technician who usually performs the treatments was away at a conference. While I can appreciate continuing education, especially in this field, I would have like more time to reschedule the appointment or do some research/ask questions about their other technicians.
They booked me with someone else. I talked with her over the phone, but didn't feel like she was very pleased I was asking her about her experience. I succeeded and felt like if they hired her, she was probably a good technician.
I was pleasantly surprised when I got there. I realised the staff had really listened to my needs over the phone and booked me with someone who had years more experience (Jamie Lynn). I really appreciated that level of client service. I was even more pleased when after consulting with Jamie Lynn and told her about by #2 treatement results, she offered to ice the area prior to the treatment and turn the machine to a higher setting to get better results. My treatment was yesterday, so I'll see how it goes.
I would recommend using this med spa. AND, the fact that I purchased my treatments at a nearly 85% discount makes it worth the trips.
