I've always enjoyed my visits to Nora's when they were in their old location, and was excited to check out their newer one as I had heard some good things after the move.
We made a reservation for 7:15pm and were seated promptly. The server immediately came over and asked us for our order, I thought that was a bit bit strange as we had just sat down. I ordered Wild Boar Pappardelle. I've had this dish here once before and it was just as good if not better than the first time. We also ordered Pasta a la Nora and spaghetti with clam sauce. They were busy (as always) and I felt they weren't as mindful as they usually are, but the only thing that seemed to suffer was a delayed drink refill.
The one thing that rang out to me was that this new location was much louder than the previous one was. From what I recall the decor seemed a bit softer in the old one, and this one is more bare and the sounds seem to overtake the location and I could barely hear my dinner mates sitting right next to me. Overall it was still a enjoyable meal and night out.
