I recently, purchase a Groupon deal and the following week schedule a appointment for the services. However, services were not rendered and the level of treatment was disheartening.
At first, I felt a presence of disconnect from the professional staff to the client. It was not a warm welcome.
After waiting for the specialist to get the room ready. I was called to go back to the room. The specialist gave a very informal welcome about the procedure and mentioned some unwarranted comments. I immediately took offense to this as I believe it was racially motivated. Their was no connection between her and I. I can't recall her name but she is pregnant.
After she brief me, I explained to her exactly, what I wanted. She then left the room and return, stating that the front and back thigh treatment were separate and does not include one velashape treatment.
I immediately left the room and spoke to the Assistant Manager Julie. I explain to her that what she is telling me is not in fine print. It appeared to me that the staff were making up rules for the velashape treatment, to not perform the procedure I paid for with the Groupon deal. I can only assume it was racially motivated.
It appears that there is a miscommunication with the merchant and groupon. As of this writing, the deal is still being advertise on groupon.
