  • Went to Goodlake last night for a friends birthday. Had been previously a couple of years ago for dinner and brunch. Have to say dinner last night was a huge improvement over my first experience!! I had a short rib starter which was so good everyone in the group sampled it. My main was venison tenderloin which was fantastic, perfectly cooked medium rare! Service was some of the best I've experienced in a while, the servers were very attentive while remaining rather anonymous. Glasses were constantly topped up and yet you never seemed to notice them doing it. Everyone in my group lives in the neighbourhood and we will definitely be back!
