  • Hmnn, well it's convenient so 4 stars there. I was proud of the host for getting us through a group that was intent on taking a selfie near the rose wall or pillar (whatever it is) right by the entrance. Let's get right into the food. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli with pine nuts + the blue cheese potato chips (or whatever they are called). The chips were delicious, well worth $12 or so. Perfectly crisp chips with a generous amount of toppings and cheese. 9.1/10. The ravioli, hmmnn, I'm not sure but I was a little thrown off bite by bite. There's balsamic in the dish but it's plated along with what I think is melted butter... sometimes you get a bite with too little and sometimes you'll get some with too much acidity. I'm conflicted of whether or not they should have garnished with the pine nuts or not as they sprinkle them in the middle... it's not too little that you ignore them but it's not so much that it's apparent it should be part of the dish. Overall the squash was really overpowered and also very minimal amount stuffed into them. I know because one fell apart and I saw how little came out. This dish I believe was $24 and I'll give it a 6.8/10 The server was really attentive until it came time for the bill, sat there for what seemed like an eternity although maybe he thought I wanted to enjoy my tea. I didn't get water, actually, not only did I not get water but everyone around me got water and a refill; I eventually had to ask. No spoon for my honey, which I thought was weird. I would have used the spoon that I got in my place setting but there wasn't one in there. Not sure I would come back. I wouldn't mind it if it was on someones agenda based on location convenience but there are a hundred other places I'll go first. The total for my bill after tip was $55. That includes hot team, the potato chips, and the pasta.
