  • I heart Sushi Roku. Atmosphere, Food, Service - this place as it all. Despite being located in an upscale section of a "mall - "Forum at Caesar's Palace, the dark, rich wood, ponds with koi, multi-leveled seating (booths and platforms) and the warm lighting made this place irresistable to not walk into during a break in my shopping frenzy. This place had the hints of a warm romantic restaurant with the modern edge that made dining here accessible to all. No matter where you are sitting (even if you aren't near a window) you'll enjoy the view. I was ready for a huge meal and my dining partner and I (having walked from MGM) were ready for a giant meal. We took the server's suggestion of a Tokyo Breeze (a sake cocktail). It was amazing! Perfectly balanced - not-too-sweet citrus cocktail made from sake, to this day, as not found it's equal in ANY establishment i have been to. It was amazing.. Starter: Chilean Sea Bass Eggrolls- I think this has forever changed my view on eggrolls. The buttery flavor of the Chilean Sea bass was perfect with this dish. The tender fish paired with the crispy wonton skin... amazing. Sushi: Uni - Delicious! Salmon - tAMAZING! the server mentioned that this was suggested by the chef because I had ordered so much salmon sashimi (it was a special kind - i can't remember, but had thicker bands of the delicious fat and was a more deeply hued orange than what I am used to) Eel- (freshwater) it was prefectly sauced with great consistency. The slices of fish were well matched size-wise with the perfectly seasoned rice Sashimi: Salmon, Yellowtail, and Tuna - all were delicious! Rolls: The rice was NOT smashed into the nori and the balance of all the flavors were perfectly matched! We had the Kani Kani roll because we are crab lovers! A roll done with crab 2 ways - inside (Alaskan snow crab) and outside - fried/tempura! Delicious. there was a great selection of rolls that seemed to cover everything from the extremely lavish to the simple but delicious.. TRY them all! Service was extremely helpful, prompt and polite. They were very attentive when we needed them and magically disappeared when they were no longer needed.. its that 6th sense that great servers are known for.. Sushi Roku servers had it. This will be pricer than what you are used to, but it is every bit worth it.
