  • First I am not a Yelp Elite Squad member. I actually PAY FOR MY FOOD. Gimmick Hipsters strike Blue Collar Foods again. hahahahahahaha Almost 2 bucks for a little basic doughnut, I am not talking big ass apple fritters here, I am talking a basic hole doughnut?? I mean are they dusted in gold? Seriously if you need fruity pebbles on your doughnut, you really don't like doughnuts in the first place. LOL It is really hard to take this place serious when McDonalds sells warm apple pies for 50 cents. hahaha And I most likely would put that apple pie up against these doughnuts. And trust me folks, unlike the girls I saw take one bite of their doughnut when I bought mine today and say they were stuffed, (seriously I really did see and hear this, by a girl that couldn't weigh more than 90 pounds) I actually eat doughnuts. Usually when I buy them I will finish a cool bakers dozen. So imagine me actually buying a dozen here. hahahahahaha Man that would cost me about the same as a damn steak dinner. Be like 25-30 bucks depending on what I picked. COME the F*** ON. That is way too expensive. Anyway. So how did they taste?? You guys want the truth??? No Bullshit? Ok I got 4 doughnuts. One gimmick Creme Brulee and one classic and my son got fruity pebbles and a cake doughnut. And my heart did drop when got the bill.. Anyway. They were alright. The Creme Brulee was overkill for a doughnut. And who the fuck puts strawberry on a Creme Brulee??? It clashed. But it did look gorgeous. hahahaha Now the classic doughnut. Run of the mill. Dunkin or Krispy could have beat or at least tied that thing. Their recipe ain't better. As for my son. 2 bites of the fruity peebles and he was done. He said it was weird. I didn't even want to take a bite of it after he shot it down. But then I thought, dude you just paid a lot for that thing, so I dunked it in my coffee and gagged it down. Yeah it was terrible like that. hahahahaha He did finish the basic cake doughnut though. I could tell he wasn't blown away. So in conclusion if you are a style over substance person. Hit this place up and bring plenty of stacks on deck. Because these nuts are going to cost you. Carlos Jr.
