| - I finally saw La Reve on New Years Eve 2014. My husband made all of the arrangements, so this review is being written without any consideration to ticket prices.
The show is absolutely stunning. I've seen crazier acrobatics at some of the Cirque shows I have attended, but in terms of pure eye candy, Le Reve wins in my book.
The theater is small and intimate, it does not appear that there is a single bad seat in the house. I personally think the better seats are higher up, not only are you out of the 'splash zone' (who wants to get wet at a classy show like this?!) but you can see more of what is going on without straining your neck.
When it comes to shows like this, I don't really go into it expecting to follow a plot. If I want a plot, I'll watch a movie. Shows like this are about the aerial performers, the beautiful stage and costume designs and the dancing. There were some slow points, which I think it to be expected. Overall, the visual stimulation made up for any plot holes or lapses in the action.
Definitely a show worth seeing when in Las Vegas!
NOTE: This is NOT a Cirque Du Soleil show. The creator, Franco Dragone (also responsible for O) left Cirque Du Soleil before creating this show for the Wynn.
