  • concord food center is a horrible place to shop. i worked at concord for 2 moths and wanted to say a few things to the public on why i quit and why you shouldn't shop there. concord is full of rats and mice. that live underneath the shelving in the ails. they also live in the cheese bunkers and meat closet. also in the back of the store (inside and out) also the meat is not the freshest they re- rap it and put it back out(multiple times they do this b4 putting it in the mincer and making it mince meat) the steaks have been sitting in the counter for minimum a week b4 they pull it out and re place it. the kosher chicken gets put out as maple leaf chicken when it expires. stay away from the fish never fresh always frozen on friday so it stays fresh for the weekend. when fish starts to go bad they wash it off and re wrap it to smell less fishy. the deli re wraps there packaged pre- sliced meats three times a week( stay away) always get the fresh sliced the kitchen re- prices there pre pack pasta and sauces soups and platters, they also re use the chicken that was left over from the night b4 as flavored chickens. watch out you may get food poison from this store on how unsafe they work and clean the store.. the only thing i recommended on buying there is the produce that is the freshest and safest thing in the store happy shopping
