Took my new Subaru Forester in for its 1st oil change. It is THE LAST TIME I go to Subaru of Las Vegas Service Center.
I made the mistake of not taking a look under the hood before departing.
Got home, popped the hood, and there was oil spillage inside! And it wasn't just a few drops! Cleaned up what I could see, but this technician must have spilled it on the exhaust system....there was the smell of oil for days...lucky there wasn't a fire!
And I looked at the dipstick.....the oil is STILL DIRTY! Did he just top it off, or do a partial change? What's going on here??
The original black filter was changed out for one of their cheaper quality blue ones. Read some of the online complaints about it. One of the models has been recalled for leakage.
This would all be BAD enough without also having to put up with the patronizing Service Advisor Esteban Maffioli. Hassling me over my request to have the license plate attached to the front of the car, unwilling to discuss with me my question about tires.
I've paid $73 and still need a proper oil change done.
Perhaps this is the quality of service they reserve for single women? Or people they think are not going to check up on them?
I will NEVER go back to this place!
