They're pretty great as far as a consignment store goes. They give you 45% in cash or 55% on store account. If you sell an item (such as furniture) earning $200 or more, you automatically get 60%. It's not dusty in here, so that's a plus.
I consigned a handful of dresses here last year and found I had about $35 on account when I checked on Friday. I never look for clothing here, as it is usually not to my tastes. Yes, there is a lot of Southwest style artwork here and early nineties stuff. But there are also some nice pieces of furniture and art that make their way in (they are just scooped up quickly).
To my surprise, I found a seriolithograph of an artist I collect on my way out. They had not even displayed it yet. I got it for a great price! Whoever gave that print up did not know what they had, clearly. So, you can get some good buys here.
I just consigned some bedroom furniture here so I am hoping someone scoops that up quickly. I am planning on stopping in again this week with some dresses that just plain bore me. We shall see.
They have a buyer in the store named Molly who seems pretty stylish... Maybe the inventory is changing as a result.
