We booked here after a weeklong camping trip with four kids. We stopped at Target on our way and spent $150 on shorts and swimsuits so they could have a nice day at the pool.
Plot twist: the pool is not permitted so they can look at it but can't use it! We chose this hotel for the pool. They are now sitting bored on their phones on our last day of our trip. I feel we have wasted time and over $300 booking here for the night. The desk told us we could walk down the street and use Embassy Suites' pool. Not really into walking around soaking wet. Thanks.
The parking lot and outdoor common areas are filled with long term guests complete with cases of beer, liters of Hennessy... country music and the plumes of smoke you'd expect.
We usually have good luck with Hilton hotels
but not this time.
Three stars for friendly staff, awesome showers and full breakfast for the kiddos.
UPDATE:
After dealing with their high-ups we have decided to give them another shot. We have been honors members since 2010 and I believe that helped as far as rectifying the situation.
