| - I have been in Phx for a year and half, since then MY health has declined. In regards to Charles T's statement, the health care for Veterans is NOT FREE, we paid for it in one way or another during our time in service. As for me it was Vietnam, I came back with issues that the VA did not address till almost 30 yrs later, and I am still yet to receive care for other issues I had incurred while in the service. This is by far the worst VA in the country. There is no one to complain about the unprofessional, dis-compassionate care they offer. It takes anywhere from weeks to months to be seen. ER as a track record of always mis-diagnosing me IE go in for a sprained ankle, it ends up being reported as a sprained left wrist, how incompetent! And in regard to parking, yes employees brag about parking in Veterans parking, they don't care. There is no open door policy with the director, sent her a letter 2 months later; still no reply. Patent advocate and other depts do not bother to return your calls. If you call the complaint hotline at the White House they only direct your issues back to the hospital with no results or help in the end. Big joke, that's what we are to the VA and it's employees! I have been told that the VA does not have to return calls & that some have up to 72 hours to contact you regarding your health issues. My list of complaints is endless and they are valid, not just simple complaints or blowing off steam. Worst meat factory in the United States! One time in ER I was told that they would rather treat illegals and undocumented Mexicans as they are more deserving of the Veterans!! If you have other health care, steer clear of here!
