  • I spent many mornings here, whether just stopping in for a to-go or grabbing a table for some study or teaching prep time. It's usually crowded, but of course it is. It's so convenient. Brewed coffee was always my first choice, until I filled out my stamp card for a nice latte. Their cubano was my usual freebie of choice until they removed it from the menu and broke my heart. I recently returned to CU after an absence of a few years, and their brew is just as good as I remember. Can't refresh my opinion about their baked goods these days, but I always enjoyed their almond poppy bread. Never had an issue with service, but the place gets crazy busy-- line out the door at times-- and so of course staff falls into "let's get this done" mode. ER was always a favorite spot for me, and I preferred it to Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, and Panera in Campustown.
