| - I had a Groupon for a Swedish massage and a facial. Once I got there, I had to wait awhile even though I had an appointment. The girl who was going to do my massage came out to greet me. She looked like she just walked in from the street, wearing a tank top, shorts, and tennis shoes and a big gulp in her hand.
She walked me to a changing room which was basically their storage room where the kept all of their products. Kind of a mess and not a good sign of what's to come. They make you change into a little towel like thing and then come out of the changing room and walk to the massage room. I'm a little bigger than I'd like to be, so I'm not very comfortable walking around in a towel.
Before she started, she explained the Swedish massage and said I could pay extra for deep tissue massage. I chose not to, but the massage I got was not like any Swedish massage I have had before. It was basicaly her rubbing lotion into my skin. Cold lotion at that, it wasn't even warmed! I didn't get any benefits from the massage, just annoyed and moisturized.
After my massage was done, I was told to wait up front for the facial in my towel mini dress. Uh no! They offered me a robe but I still had to sit there for 20 minutes or so while people kept walking by me asking what I was there for.
Finally the facial came and that was actually pretty good. The girl was pleasant and explained everything she was doing. She also tried to upsell me, but I ended up doing it, and was glad I did. She also tried to sell me product, but was not overly pushy. I would consider going back for the facial.
Not sure why Hilton is in the salon's name, but that is what suckered me into coming. Oh wait, I guess I just answered why "Hilton" is part of their name. Not a great place.
