  • It has become apparent that people will gather just about anywhere to have an event. In this case, the location is the Extravaganza Depot. I suspect that the Depot was literally a depot for deliveries on & off the train, which is literally right outside. As to Extravaganza? Wouldn't you rather go someplace with a name like that? As to the inside, it's a bit hall. Mostly empty, which is perfect for an event, as you have plenty of room. Getting there is easy - just a jaunt up (or down, perhaps) Tryon, so you're there in no time if you're anywhere near Uptown. The largest downside is that there is not a bunch of parking, and while the Depot isn't large, the parking is not even really big enough for the space that it is. Their lot is connected to the metalwork (?) shop next door, but I'm not really sure if it's somewhere that you're supposed to park, and if you are going to an event, it's probably not the area that you want to be trekking about, so more parking would be ideal Now if the train stopped there, that might make things interesting...
