This was a pretty cut and dried experience for me. I worked with John Zambrowski, but I had done a TON of preliminary shopping online and knew what I wanted ahead of time. I had even arranged my own financing in advance. I was looking for a 2015 or 2016 Ford Escape, but I was very particular about color and I did NOT want leather! The other dealers I was working with (all online or over the phone) were sending me white or silver options with leather, even though I was clear about my preference for fabric. Anyway, that's neither here nor there. I found a promising 2015 Escape with a very competitive price, in a color I LOVED and everything that I felt I needed, at Centennial and went to see it in person. Loved it and bought it. It was quick and painless...under two hours total. John was pleasant and personable and I will definitely refer him to others and come back to work with him again in the future.
If I have any complaint at all, it would be with the keyless entry factory set security code. I believe a dealership should make sure they have that information available or arrange to get it for the customer. This didn't happen and I was told to call a Ford dealership because they would have to pull it from the programmed key. The Ford dealership wanted to charge $80...EIGHTY DOLLARS...to get this code for me since I didn't purchase from them. Well guess what people (and all you Escape people listen up. You'll want to tuck this information away), the factory set security code is under the glove compartment dash area on the passenger side. You disconnect the fabric covering to reveal the smart junction box. The code is located on a black & white sticker above the electrical connector farthest to the right. I passed that info on to John and I believe he was appreciative to know that he can confidently help anyone with this issue in the future.
Overall just an easy and stress-free experience.
