I'm not what you would call a huge fan of French cuisine. That doesn't mean I can't appreciate delicious when it hits my lips. I didn't really know what to expect from this place, other than I was fairly certain I could get some duck confit or a croissant. I was right, but they have a lot more. Sadly, I came near closing time, so many of their savory options were gone. But, I was able to snag some of their macaroons and a madeline. I guess their macaroon flavors rotate all the time, but the blueberry one I had was easily the finest macaroon I've had to date. Couple this with a very European feel inside & very friendly service, and this was a nice change of pace.
I will go back, if nothing else, to try one of their savory croissants - and possibly some of their other fresh items that frankly wouldn't travel well in 110 degree heat. This place is unique and if you're in the area, definitely check it out!
