  • Unfortunately zero stars is not an option, or that's what I would be giving in this review. We paid Brice Cavanaugh a nice chunk of change for 8 lessons to help us work on my dog's socialization problems with other dogs. We spent 4 productive lessons and hours of "homework" getting him ready to meet Brice's dog. We scheduled lesson number 5 for the first Sunday in February, when he was going to bring his dog, but he never showed up. Countless phone calls, texts, and emails, and we can't even get a response from him. It's unfortunate, because we were actually making good progress with our dog, but now we're out the cash with little option for recourse. I believe he mentioned he was working with Warrior's Heart, through a nonprofit called Operation Overwatch, to train service dogs in Texas. I can only speculate that he found a more desirable prospect there and that he's morally comfortable with skipping town on all the people he owes services to in the valley. Lesson learned. Time to start saving up for a new trainer to finish what Brice started (and was paid for).
