  • $390 charge just for being a new patient is a little ridiculous. I went in because I felt pain on my ankle and ended up with almost $1200 in charges (new patient charge, xray, and MRI). I was lied to about what insurance covers by both my insurance company and the hospital (they transferred me to at least 4 people on the phone). The orthopedist who read my MRI sounded incompetent and had no idea how to explain what was wrong with my ankle and simply told me to just rest my ankle. I will not be visiting this hospital or any other affiliated hospitals...way too expensive for what they provide. Very disappointing that the first time I decided to go to the hospital, I'm having to pay that much when I could have stayed home and rested my ankle. Too bad you can't give 0 star.
