  • I like everyone love target. Why the one star? For about 2 months I have placed orders to pick up in store, and the lazy incompetent staff cancels my order saying the item is not available even when I know they have it. I went to the store and wanted matching Christmas pyjamas, I wasn't sure of my friends size and she didn't have a phone. I went home, confirmed her size and placed a online pickup order. I remembered seeing at least a dozen in her size through out the store. Then I receive a notification hat my order is cancelled. Then I drove down, asked for manager, and the MOD apologised and promised to speak to his team. Similar thing happened last night. I ordered a blanket(white) to pick up in store. I arrived after receiving the email that my order was ready to pick up. The manager Mel brought out the item, I informed her that wasn't the right item and that my item was white. She then paged her staff that fills online orders. 3-5mins later she informs me that the item is not available. I then told her how every time I order I have a bad experience and she started giving me ridiculous excuses for the incompetence of her workers, instead of apologising. I was with my friends and I told them that after we are done purchasing we are going in department just to make sure the employees aren't being lazy. Sure enough the blanket I wanted for my daughter was there. My friend had me take a pic of other ones there, 2-3 more in the size I wanted. And I went to customer service desk and asked for Mel to prove to her that her employees are incompetent. She got frustrated, and yelled back sorry I will talk to my employees. I informed her that's exactly what I was told last time. She then hugged and walked away. Attached photos show the email I received informing me that order was ready to pick up. Kim cancelling my order because item wasn't available. The pic my friend had me take of the item in stock.
