| - Had me some Khao Soi today since Dan P. mentioned they're getting new cooks this coming year. And although after i did interrogated the server i learned that they are in fact obtaining new ownership and that they're still undetermined of which direction they want the restaurant to head towards to.
Anyhow Ive been eating lots of noodle soup lately due to the weather and this belly i have is out of control! Never less i don't mind filling up with goodness like their Khao Soi: deep fried egg noodles with choice of beef or chicken, bean spouts, julienne ginger, dried garlic slice, chopped green onions, chopped cilantro, and a lime wedge all in a bowl of thin curry soup similar to yellow curry. Since yellow curry is richer in flavor it tone down the overall spiciness of the dish, so an 8 would be about a 5 in this case. Despite the low grade quality beef, this is a welcoming, hearty bowl. Just a sip of the soup and it will fill in all those missing pieces that you need to move forward with your life.
Another treasure here would be their Tom Ka. Although i only had it once my first visit here, i remember it was one of the most tasteful, yet smooth coconut soup i ever had. The transition was endless as it took my mouth on a roller coaster ride. Defiantly get this if you want to impress your foodies in crime.
Place is a little run down, but the food is damn delicious. Service is genuine. Heartbrokenly i don't see any cool floaties in my ice water everyone claimed -;(
