  • What a mistake this was. If you are a small business looking for more automation to your outreach, please do yourself a favor and look past Infusionsoft unless you have months of time and hundreds of dollars to commit (which I don't know any small businesses that do have). We signed up for this service and was immediately put through the training. The training really has no real-life application. Unless you already know what you're doing, don't count on Infusionsoft making it easy on you. They only point you around the software, they don't really explain how the features can impact your marketing. A year into this, we realized we were not using the service at all. It was far too complicated and took far too long to set up campaigns (even using the pre-packaged campaigns). Even setting up email templates was a huge hassle and you cannot make them appear professional without hiring one of their "consultants." When we went to cancel it, we discovered that we had been billed at their top tier package for the year, not the package that we had requested. Shame on us for not confirming. They of course offer no refund. And cancelling....keep reading But when we went to cancel, the real circus began. You can't just cancel, they make you call a hard-sell person who will offer you some sort of compromise. Whether you agree to the compromise or not, they send you an email outlining the compromise and unless you contact them AGAIN to cancel, they will continue to bill you. Unfortunately, we did not know there was a two-tier cancellation process. We discovered far too late that we weren't the only ones with this problem. Available to answer questions along the way. Avoid Infusionsoft unless you love evergreen contracts and no cancellation allowed policies.
