Now this is fun affair...but caveat...you have to enjoy sports, even if it's just the Olympics! I volunteered for a field trip for my kids class. Secretly I was very excited about this field trip since I love sports.
We started the tour with a short movie featuring sports through the ages, triumphs, victories and even heartbreaking moments captured in time. Incredibly moving and you leave this movie feeling very proud to be Canadian. We had two wonderful tour guides walk us through the exhibits and share stores about some of the athletes. Did you know Rocket Richard was the first hockey player to score 50 goals in 50 games?! And there was a Riot named after him?! So much to see, so much to learn, so much to be grateful for.
There are so many interactive exhibits which the kids loved. They had a blast and I left feeling like I wanted to return with the rest of the family as soon as possible as there was so much to be learned about sports history, the athletes and inspiration was everywhere.
Definitely put this on your bucket list!
