| - Bright and cheery spot on the corner of Sherbrooke and St-Denis serving coffee and bagels. It's a great place just to sit down and destress, get some work done (they have wi-fi) or catch up with a friend over coffee or a meal. It's a nice middle ground between being too loud to destress, and too dead silent due to all the solo studiers to have a conversation without being awkward. You know what I'm talking about.
I love their lattes and Americanos, always well-made and at a slightly lower price point than you might find at other coffee shops around. They have decaf beans if you're into that.
The bagels are good (I think from St-Viateur), and the bagel sandwiches are served with chips by default, though you can get salad too for extra. I find the chips a little weird, but I don't like chips so it's more of a personal preference thing. You can see them preparing the sandwiches. As much as I love the coffee and the atmosphere, I'm not a big fan of the sandwiches. One time I got a bagel that was supposed to come with avocado, and it just... didn't. I also got a salad once that was supposed to come with avocado and it also just didn't. If you don't have avocados, maybe specify that when I order something with it? The Argentina was disappointing too, the filet mignon was dry and bland.
Basically - great atmosphere, great service, great coffee, great bagels, not so great bagel sandwiches.
