What I love above this place is the selection of cocktails and spirits, with flights of various liquors. It's a great place to go with a group and sample a wide range of drinks -- too bad for me mixing various liquors makes for a miserable morning after.
Their Cristal Head vodka crafted shooters were very tasty and were served up in very cool skull glasses.
Their crafted cocktails were good, but could be better as I wasn't wowed by it like I did at Barchef (minus the theatrics).
I don't think their prices are that expensive, it's pretty much on par with a good cocktail at any bar or restaurant.
I really love their oyster plate. Very fresh and sweet tasting and was served with a excellent selection of condiments: house pickled cucumbers (my favorite), finely shaved basil ice (very refreshing), fresh grated horseradish and hot sauce. I could a couple dozen of these myself.
The atmosphere is very comfy, dark and cool without being too pretensious. We were seated at the large lounge banquette overlooking the bar which offered a great view.
Our waitress, Whitney was awesome. Very friendly, attentive, down to earth and was great at helping us with our drink selections. Service couldn't be better.
Since we came from Wvrst after quite a few rounds of beers and some sausages and duck fries, we didn't drink a whole lot here. I will definitely be back to try more of their cocktails and will report back soon!
