  • Delicately positioned in the delightful Bloordale Village is a petite vintage clothing shop called Vintage Depot. It's on the the south side of Bloor just east of Lansdowne. When you enter it's racks galore, a sea of clothing divided by gender and sorted into categories like windbreakers, hoodies, athletic, army jackets, tees, shoes, etc. The men's tops are sorted by colour which made it pretty easy to find a purple T-shirt. Something I needed desperately. Don't ask. There is a healthy mix of really old and fairly new in the shop. I was pretty impressed by the shoe selection, and I might have even picked up a pair of Puma sneakers for $24 if I had had more time to try them on. There are a host of accessories also including belts, hats, scarfs and trucker caps. If you are looking for ironic accesories, you will find them here. The service is friendly and accomodating. I would come here again. Obligatory Title Pun: For the VIN. Menu Readability: The signs are all hand-made and poorly done. Need to mention: They take debit! What this place teaches me about myself: I don't need to tell you why I need a purple shirt.
