I've been to the Axis Theater twice. It's a great concert venue in Planet Hollywood to see your favorite artists.
The first time for Britney Spears and most recently for the Backstreet Boys. Britney will only be around until the end of the year so make sure to buy tickets, for her show make sure you sit as close as possible. The further away you are the harder it is to see and it's not worth your while. I was in the front-middle section and I still couldn't see well because she's so petite I suppose. I went a couple years ago and the side screens weren't utilized at all, but I always figured this was by design since Britney is no longer the performer she used to be and they were trying to hide her flaws maybe? It was disappointing considering how high expectations are.
For BSB, my main issue was that the ticket fees were really high. It was almost $40-50 in fees when the tickets themselves are $100 and $150 ish. It's a steep jump in additional fees. Other than that, the concert was great and they're worth checking out.
The venue itself is great. On the night of a performance the lines are set up so you walk around the bar out in front to wait to go through the metal detectors. There's also boards where you can take pictures with your party so it's like you're going to a club and walking the red carpet. Once you walk in there's lots of different bars to get drinks at, a few merchandise stands on both sides.
