| - I had come here once prior to their renovation and had been satisfied by their service. When I returned after they finished the remodel, however, I was very disappointed. Our cat had ear mites and required treatment. We explained to the vet that he can be VERY aggressive with strangers, which is why it would be better for us to hold him during any examination.
She insisted that they had a very tough cat handler who could take on the fiercest of felines. As they were quite busy, they asked us to come back in an hour and leave the cat there. We reluctantly agreed.
When we returned, they told us they couldn't get the cat out of his kennel because he was so wild. Therefore, they did NO exam but still prescribed him medicine, which worried me. They said they'd have to sedate him to do any type of check on him or even give him a shot. I found this ridiculous as other vets have been able to examine him as long as we are present.
They brought the kennel out to us, and sure enough, we opened it up and he hopped into our laps and started purring. I have no doubt he was vicious when we left him alone, but if they had just LISTENED to their customers, we could have resolved the issue.
Worst part--they charged me $40 for the "physical exam" when they admitted they had done none.
I am sure they have some great vets here, but please listen to your customers and be reasonable when charging fees.
