  • Xtreme Bean was an old haunt of mine when I was a college student and it's still a nice mix of hippy, modern, small office! It is a chill place with people from all backgrounds, cultures, young and old. It is a nice environment to be surrounded by. They even have a designated study area probably to serve the college students studying late into the night as they open until 1 am! The staff is always nice and super efficient with the way that coffee food and pleasantries are served after you finally come to a decision from the huge selection of mixed coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, pastries, bagels, breakfast burritos and breakfast muffin sandwiches. I got a Mate chai tea (don't confuse with Chai latte) and it was amazing ! Both mate and chai have strong flavor notes and it was a good mixture of both and you don't the overly bitter flavors of mate that come out. The color of the tea after soaking looks somewhat like a White Tea. While the only thing with my Spanish and feta burrito is that it could have been warmer, my tea definitely made my morning all that much better !
