| - When I walked in and saw a list of organic companies which provide the ingredients, I was hopeful for a transcendental experience here. There were no prices displayed, and wishing to have that info in advance, I first asked how much the doughnuts cost. As it turned out, it was a sweet potato sugared variety, and was priced at $3.50 each. Its size was a little bigger than a small child's fist. My cost per edible mass ratio radar kicked in. Further to the right in the glass case was a cookie whoopie sandwich, a variant on the whoopie pie. I settled on that and took a few bites on my way back to the car. While my tolerance for cloying sweets is normally pretty high, the overall monochromatic flavor profile would have made all but the smallest children wince, who are used to a steady consumption of candy korn, peeps, circus peanut candy and the like. I can only imagine how much a custom cake would cost there, but for those in parts of the Middleton neighborhood, it's probably less then they would find in their couches. I will give their savory menu a try on a future visit.
