I've been to Baby Kay's twice in the last five years. It is good. It's not great. Today I got an oyster po-boy with fries. The oysters were great. I got a to go order and I appreciated that the sandwich wasn't full assembled so it wouldn't get soggy. That said, even after I put it together it lacked that drip-down-your-arm goodness I expect from a po-boy. The bread wasn't crusty--it was very soft. The remoulade was very heavy on the horseradish. I like lettuce, tomato, and pickles on a po-boy. My sandwich only came with two little tomato slices. I did find the pickles hiding under my fries after I was done with my sandwich. They were really tasty--wish I had found them sooner. The fries were crispy and had Cajun seasoning. The oysters were good enough, I'll come back but I'd probably get the platter and not the po-boy.
