  • What a terrible experience I just had at Action Vacuum. The vacuum I bought there about 6 years ago konked out. When I dropped it off for repair I was told that the brand turned out to be not so good, as many other owners had the same issue I did. The young man was going to look at it and let me know if it was worth fixing, and added he would be happy to offer me a good deal on a new Miele canister. I waited over a week for a call back. Nothing. So I called and was told he needed a few more days. The call came that it would be over 200 bucks to fix it which they didn't recommend. I went in today to pick up my broken vacuum to see what the good deal on a new canister might be. The young man said he would give me 150 off another brand upright. When I told him I felt I had been burned on my last purchase, he said he was basically offering me the other upright at cost. I asked what else we might do (thinking still about switching to a high rated miele canister that i gad rwa si much about), and that's when he blew it. He quickly told me I could just go to Walmart then. I left, furious. He smugly told me to have a nice day. I will never support this business ever again.
