We have been wanting to see this since we moved here a few years ago. We had seen a few of the acts featured on "I Can Do That" on NBC that ran last year, so that made it all the more exciting.
The reservations were easy and hassle free, no trouble at all with customer service over the phone.
The unfortunate experience for us was that we were seated in what is very likely the worst seats in the house. The theater isn't incredibly large so chances are most general seating customers get a decent view of the show.
The problem with the theater is there is a very large pillar in the middle of the room that obstructed part of the show for my wife and I. I knew it was going to be a problem as soon as we sat down and found the seating usher to ask if me there was any way we could find new seats. I wasn't asking for a VIP upgrade by any means, simply a different General Seating location. The young guy told me he couldn't do anything and that I'd need to talk to someone else about it. After I mentioned that my wife wasn't able to see part of the stage he responded without making eye contact "Yeah, it's a big show". Which I guess he meant to mean, "tough luck, not everyone is going to get a good seat". I just don't understand why those seats exist in the first place.
The worst part is we had our tickets ahead of time and were there more than 30 minutes early with plenty of people seated AFTER us, so I could even understand if these had been the last remaining seats in the house. But they weren't. Waves of customers who arrived much later than us were seated closer and at better angles. Made no sense.
The show actually wasn't bad had we had a decent seat, but the lack of accommodation and the puzzling obstructed view just left me with a bad taste in my mouth that I was unable to shake during the show.
