  • What a delight! The Olbrich Botanical Gardens are magical. I'm so glad we did not miss the opportunity to tour this lovely spot during a recent visit to Madison, WI. I love the Frederik Meijer Garden & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, MI so I was curious to see how this would compare. Although the gardens at Olbrich do not have the amazing assortment of sculptures that Frederik Meijer Gardens does, they are beautifully arranged and cover a wide variety of gardening themes including wild flowers, rock gardens, herb gardens, garden sculptures, various ponds and Asian themed gardens. It's the sort of place you could easily spend a day or two just to absorb the beauty. And, we were shocked to find that all this gorgeousness was offered to the public for FREE. We couldn't help but give a donation to support the efforts.
