  • Okay.. Where do I begin.. West coast kids has the potential to be an amazing specialty baby store but what wrecks it all for them is there under knowledgeable can't do wrong sales and management. Holy cow I have never been in a store that treats shoppers with such disregard. It's so unfortunate as this store has lots of neat items for the little people in your life. I will add one of my experiences here, I went in with my two littles in tow, anyone with kids knows how hard it is to do a quick trip when your taking your monsters with you. Well this trip I knew what I needed and had it priced out and all. I walked in rounded up my 3 year old multiple times until a staff member came over to help. I told her I needed this exact model of part for my stroller to attach my car seat to. Well she then questions if I know which part to get goes and asks another staff member, then brings me back a box with the supposed part. In my chaos of being a mother I pay for it and drive home. When I get home I pull out the part go to attach it to my stroller and woops they gave me the wrong part. Obviously if they would have listened to the part I needed and told them this wouldn't have happened so anyways off to the store I go again. I get inside once again am chasing down my super excited 3 year old and begin to tell the lady at the cash that she gave me the wrong part. She then calls the manager which comes over no smiles no apologies and looks at the box then looks at me and says " nope this is the right part".. Hmm okay is she seriously telling me I'm wrong!?? I begin to tell her no this is for the other stroller model not mine, same big brand name but wrong model of stroller.. She then gets huffy and all miserable about this and tries to tell me that I am still wrong. I then had to tell her no go get this "model" part.. So she does and comes back and surprise surprise it's the one I need. She doesn't say a word to me no "I'm sorry " or anything just looks at one of her employees and says " we need to start labelling these boxes better" okay first off if she would have read the whole front of the box it says this wasn't for my model of stroller. It made me mad that she blamed this on her staff. Ridiculous and she walked away with nothing else being said. Ugh please people save yourself these terrible experiences and go to Kacz Kids which have all the same things and have the greatest most helpful staff.
