  • Over the years I haven't come to expect much from the original Royal Oak's in Ottawa, but figured I'd give one a try in the GTA and have to say I was less then pleased by the experience. Let me ask you this. When you order a drink, should it take 20 minutes to arrive? Should a burger take another 30 minutes? Thats how long we waited, mind you we weren't in a rush to get anywhere, but still. It's a shame, because the Royal Oaks used to be great places for food, but that was many years ago Food for thought
