This is an economy hotel at best. The rate was $44 so I feel funny complaining but there were other Las Vegas Strip hotels for that same rate when I booked. Probably the least appointed room I have ever stayed in as an adult. No clock in the room, shampoo and body wash in dispensers in the shower and it is a small room. The hallways are cramped and the ceilings are low so the smoke and perfume they pump into this place can kill you.
The worst part of my stay is they are doing construction that I was not alerted to until 6:30 this morning. There was a helicopter delivering heavy equipment to the room, right outside my window that was so loud, I woke up in a panick. There is no way they should be selling Las Vegas hotel rooms knowing every guest on this side of the building is going to get a 6:30 wake up call from a huge helicopter. To be clear about this, it was really really loud and impossible to sleep through. The worst part is, I am getting up again tomorrow at 6:30am because they will be delivering more equipment. Don't you think they could have done this later in the day. Who is making these decisions.
The rate is cheap but the resort fee is almost $40 a day. For that, you get free Wifi (okay) access to a small gym, and access to a small shaded pool with old and worn out deck chairs and lounges. They should be embarrassed to charge that kind of money for so little in return.
Like I said, this is an econo motel at best. Stay elsewhere and save the aggravation. There are too many options in Las Vegas for this level of BS.
