rev:text	We were incredibly pleased with our experience using Freddie James DJs for our November 2017 wedding. It was very easy to create our music preferences using their online system (must-play, try-to-play, do not play), & close to the event itself, Freddie James himself met with us to go over our big day. All the things I was worried about or didn't know how to handle, Freddie was ready with: He recommended walk-in music, coming-down-the-aisle music, mother/son songs, the whole nine yards. It was so helpful to talk with a seasoned expert who knew all the right questions to ask to calm a bride who wasn't even sure what details she might be missing. We loved his recommendation that we use jazz pianist Beegie Adair's music during cocktail hour, & we also went with his suggestion to use pop covers by the instrumental Vitamin String Quartet throughout dinner. He even worked behind-the-scenes with our scheming Best Man, who put together a CD of the Independence Day theme song to use during his speech. How surprised were we when THAT started blasting?! Come the day of our wedding, DJ Jim was professional & friendly, arriving right on time to set up & get everything in order. The sound for our ceremony was a little tricky - a bit of feedback due to the acoustics of our venue (which the venue had of course assured us wouldn't be an issue) - but DJ Jim did all he could to right it, & we were very happy, otherwise, with the sound quality of everything. He played everything at the right times, did his best DJ-voiced announcements to help with the flow of the wedding, & even let my bridesmaids store their stuff under his table when there was nowhere else for them to put their things. Overall, we were very happy with DJ Jim, Freddie James, & the whole company. I know it's a big trend right now to hire a friend as a DJ or to set up an iPhone with a Spotify playlist, but for us, it was absolutely worth the (low!) cost to work with these consummate professionals who knew exactly what they were doing & were integral to ensuring that our big day ran smoothly. Can't recommend them highly enough!
