| - The Capitol is my go to movie theatre! Sure, they don't have the recliner seating that most theaters have nowadays, but their movie selection and ticket prices are worth it! And the seats aren't too bad anyway.
I'm constantly checking the Cleveland Cinemas website to see what kind of special events the Capitol is hosting. The last movie event I attended was the Meet Me In St. Louis happy hour. I went with my mom as we both love that film and we had a great time!
The large main theatre makes the movie-going experience so fun. It really creates the classic atmosphere that I love. The tiny theaters on the second level are great too! Very intimate and small, but there really isn't a bad seat in the place.
The parking in the back of the theatre usually has a few spots available. There have only been a handful of times where I had to park further away.
And of course, I would be amiss to not mention the benefits of having a theatre at Gordon Square! If I'm early, I pop into The Gypsy Bean across the street for a Passport Latte. If I feel like a post-movie snack, Brewnuts is across the street and Sweet Moses is a hop, skip, and a jump away!
All in all, this is one of my favorite theatres in Cleveland. It may not have the fancy movie theatre amenities people are used to now, but in my opinion, supporting local businesses is so much more important than that.
