rev:text	I love Lawry's Season Salt and it's been years since I've visited one of their prime rib restaurants... So when I had some VIPs in town this is where we chose to have a business lunch at. The ambiance of the restaurant was exactly what you'd expect... a timeless classic! On top of it the gentleman acting as maitre de was even more classy in greeting us/helping us get seated. I only wish he was serving us :( After being seated, it took us about five minutes for someone to acknowledge us and bring over some water/take drink orders. It then took our waitress another 10 minutes to come over and take our orders... We had business to discuss, but 15 minutes to be tended to after arriving could/would be bested by Chili's (and they're not charging Chili-prices at Lawry's!) All this while there were only 4 other tables in the entire restaurant makes it inexcusable. Love the big sterling silver-like grill wheeled over to carve prime rib right in front of us, but the cuts appeared thinner than ordered and duo carving (yes, 2-guys carving?!?) was, well, not exactly the friendliest? It's not that they said anything inappropriate, but gave off some serious negativity. I'm pretty certain they would have been more comfortable back in the kitchen behind the wall. The prime rib (even though it was thinner than ordered) was still great (4-stars) but here again our server couldn't be found to provide some horseradish (She was a little busy tending to one of the other 4 tables with a little small talk!?!) Long story short, and I hate writing poor reviews, but I rely on Yelp to provide me with reviews when traveling. With that in mind, there are a ton of awesome restaurants in Las Vegas you can conduct a business lunch... I really wanted Lawry's to be one of them. Looks like I'll have to settle for the seasoning salt somewhere else... Here's the rundown: Satisfied? No Return? No Advocate? No
