rev:text	Ah, Ribfest. Lucky for me I had the pleasure of attending ribfest for three straight days due to work, which in turn offered me free food from any vendor. First off, not that I'm cheap or anything but these Rotary volunteers would not stop hassling guests for donations as if it was mandatory. Many times did I hear one volunteer near the west gate say that it was mandatory. I'm sorry but if you're going to hassle everyone for a "donation" might as well make it an admission fee. One thing I did like was the VIP passes they had for sale which granted the holder a free beer mug (two dollar value) and line bypass for rib vendors, and unlimited "in and out privileges" for reason I don't know. It is a free event after all. Anyways.... THE RIBS! I had the pleasure of trying ribs from many vendors which included Sticky Fingers, the Silver Bullet, Kentucky Smokehouse, and Gator BBQ. The best of which was Kentucky Smokehouse! As an event worker I know why these ribs were so exceptional. The whole crew would stay after closing and would begin their prep for the next day! Talk about working overtime. The racks to begin with were HUGE, shoutout to their vendor. I tried both their pork ribs and beef ribs and both failed to disappoint. Everything was spot on. The meat to bone ratio was good, the sauce was amazing, and the meat fell off the bone so easily -- what else could you ask for? Not to say the other vendors weren't good, its just Kentucky stood out the most. Also, shoutout to Sticky Fingers for their amazing coleslaw. Will be back next year!
