Today I had a similar experience as Joey. I went in to Made in the Shade with my Groupon and an email from Groupon that stated since they had made the mistake, there would be no additional charges for removal of old tint or the upgraded/darker tint. The woman I spoke to said that regardless of the email, the limitations would apply and pointed to a typed note on the front counter. She said that it would cost $30 to remove the old tint and then an additional $30-$80 depending on what upgrade I'd want. I have to agree with Joey, at those prices - it just doesn't make sense as I'd be spending between $100 and $150.
I understand errors happen and am simply looking for a win/win situation. My Groupon is only for the two windows. What can we do to make this work for both of us?

Thank you for purchasing the Groupon for Made In The Shade!
Unfortunately, there was an error in the original Fine Print for this offer. We neglected to include the stipulation, "24hr cancellation notice or fee up to Groupon price may apply. Extra fee for upgraded films and darker tints. Tint removal not included."
No need to worry, though -- since this was our mistake, and you purchased the Groupon before the change was made, this limitation will not apply to you. You will still be able to use this Groupon as originally indicated.
Please note that if you print your Groupon, it will reflect this stipulation. However, Made In The Shade is aware that your Groupon was purchased before the correction, and they will still accept your Groupon on the terms of the deal at that time.
