| - My husband and I were stayin at the Palazzo so on our first night we just wanted to explore Palazzo & Venetian.. After shopping and takin our gondola ride, we decided to eat here.
We were seated promptly and because my husband and I love to sit next to each other and are very private, they granted our request and sat us in a booth. The servers were attentive, timely and knowledgeable. Our bread and butter came as soon as we sat down- the various breads were soft, warm and had enough crisp on the first bite with the dough melting right in your mouth.. The butter was at room temperature which spread easily on the breads.. They had an olive oil concoction w/ different spices that made it great for dipping..
As Ive mentioned before, my husband and I are great fans of calamari so we ordered their Calamaretti Fritti for an appetizer- perfectly breaded and deep-fried w/out having the oily aftertaste nor left the plate it came on oily.
I was craving pizza and wanted something small so I ordered their "personal" pizza- Quattro Stagioni which were cut into four slices with each slice containing ham, mushrooms, asparagus and artichokes.. "Personal" my butt, it was HUGE and it was DELICIOUS, especially since I am not a thin crust pizza kinda gal!! As the calamari wasnt oily, this too wasnt oily- pure deliciousness.
My husband ordered Branzino as Sale o Alla Griglia (seabass) and that came w/ veges and mashed potatoes. The bass was meaty and his veges & potatoes were fresh. K is critical when it comes to his steak and bass and he was extremely happy with his meal.
We saw other dishes being served to other patrons and they all looked appetizing. We were not disappointed at all and were glad that we had our first dinner in Vegas at this restaurant. I highly recommend, if youre ever at the Venetian, to come check this place out.
But then again, its just my opinion..
